with global perspective and backgrounds in investment, real estate, finance, and law.
Mor Assayag is a founding partner of KRC, and in collaboration with David Issroff leads acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and asset management activities. Born in Israel, Mor was educated in the United Kingdom where he graduated from law school and thereafter practiced law in Israel, focusing on M&A, real estate and corporate finance. Mor has spent over twenty years working with global institutional and high net worth clients to invest in commercial and residential real estate in the United States, United Kingdom, and internationally, and has managed all aspects of real estate investments and developments across multi-family, retail, and office sectors. Mor lives in the New York Area together with his wife Shelly and their three children.
David Issroff is a founding partner of KRC, and in collaboration with Mor Assayag leads acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and asset management activities. Born in South Africa, David was educated in the United Kingdom and the United States where he graduated from Wesleyan University. Prior to moving to New York City in 2006 with his wife Lisa and their three children, David was a Partner with Glencore in Switzerland, where he was responsible for the global Ferro Alloys and Nickel Division of one of the world’s largest suppliers of a wide range of commodities to industrial consumers. In this capacity, David served as a non-executive Director of various public corporations in South Africa, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, including Xstrata Plc from 2002-2006. Together with his wife Lisa, David founded the Issroff Family Foundation, whose mission is to provide support for youth primarily in Southern and East Africa in a tangible and sustainable way that will give them a basis for uplifting their lives and realizing their potential. David serves on the boards of various private portfolio investment companies and several non-profit organizations, including Echoing Green.
Michael Shine is Senior Partner and Founder of Michael Shine & Partners, Advocates and Notaries, and Chairman of MSA Shine Global Family Office Ltd. Michael is considered a leading specialist on international family wealth management structuring and protection, international banking law and procedures, international tax and estate planning, and domestic and commercial management for private clients. Michael holds a LLB from University College London.
Ricky Isserow works across all aspects of KRC’s investment process, including acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and asset management activities. Prior to joining KRC, Ricky worked as a strategy consultant in Sydney, Melbourne and Boston at L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy consulting firm, and has extensive experience across a range of industries including real estate and private equity. Ricky holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with Distinction and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours Class 1 from the University of New South Wales.
Rebecca Sommer works across all aspects of KRC’s investment process, including acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and asset management activities. Prior to joining KRC, Rebecca worked as an analyst at Antheus Capital, a New York based fund with an estimated $1B in multi-family real estate assets across the US. Rebecca started her career working in the real estate and private equity groups at top-tier law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City. Rebecca holds a BA from Duke University.
Mark Greenbaum works across all aspects of KRC’s investment process, including acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing, and asset management activities. Prior to joining KRC, Mark completed his accounting articles at Deloitte in Johannesburg and New York City. Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Science majoring in Finance and Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, and a Master of Commerce (Finance), from the University of Cape Town.
